Ofrenda in the Park Next Door

Many people make altars or “ofrendas” (offerings) in their homes to honor their loved ones who have passed on as a part of Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The ofrenda represents a remembrance of the departed and a celebration of their lives.

If you would like to honor the memory of someone you've lost please bring a copy of a photo, small items of remembrance, or write a note to leave in our communal alter.

The alter will be set up in the park next door and ready for your contributions starting on October 25 (at the Jack-o-lantern contest), and will remain in the park until November 6
