THE
CIVIC STANDARD
Grand and tiny experiments in
getting together
The Civic Standard is a weekly supper club, a public living room, and a collaborative art project in Hardwick, Vermont. We are rooted in and listening to our town, always trying to reflect it back on itself.

Every Wednesday, all are invited to our town-wide dinner party on Main Street.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW
The Civic creates inclusive events for everyone. From live theater to free weekly meals, from teenage collective organizing to karaoke night, from mending circles to town-wide dances, we are working together to build a common culture.
Bingo & Burgers
Join us for an evening of low stakes gambling and classic American cuisine! Doors open at 6pm for burgers, and the games will begin at 6:30. Throughout the evening, live piano music will be provided by Greensboro's own Andrew Koehler, a fiendish tickler of the ivories. All games will be 50/50 and cash only—you win half, the other half goes toward our New Home Fundraiser. BYO dauber if you have one!

About
Building a
resilient community
THROUGH SHARED EXPERIENCES
The Civic Standard was born from the idea that people want to gather with their neighbors, both the ones they know and the ones they haven’t met. We believe that the richest cultural experiences are made from the inside-out, and we work with our neighbors to build events that are of interest to all of us. Stop by or reach out. The door is open.
